My background is in biology and psychology with a focus on how our emotions affect our hormones and chemistry, thereby our health. My passion was always to bridge the gap between science and emotions while being able to help others help themselves. I had the brief opportunity to do this while I worked at NIH and assisted in research looking at the relationship between depression and osteoporosis.
Shortly thereafter I experienced this for myself. I developed several debilitating and confusing health problems, which the best specialists could not effectively diagnose or treat. After 2 years of trying everything within traditional medicine I found relief and improvement with massage, craniosacral therapy and chiropractic adjustments.
This led me take a year off and move to Virginia Beach where I enrolled at the Edgar Cayce School of massage. While there, I had an awakening to a more holistic approach to health by witnessing it within myself. My health made a complete turn around and I found myself working in a field where I can help others every day. I look forward to meeting you and working with you, so that together we can help awaken the sanctuary inside of you.
